Air Hostess TV Serial - Doordarshan DD National (DD1)

After Grand Success of Its Blockbuster Serial Main Banoongi Miss India, Dhirubhai Gohil's RDG Production, Utopia Productions and Doordarshan moved ahead with Air Hostess TV Serial in year 2007. This TV Serial was launched just after conclusion of Miss India TV Serial and filled the empty slot of Wednesday's 9:30 PM on DD National. It was directed by Sabir Mustafa, who also directed Mai Banungi Miss India earlier, while story was written by Rakesh saksham and music by Rajesh Prasad.

The Story-line of TV show was focused on love story of a poor girl Mansi, whose father Mr. Ramakant was a cleaner at Airport. Maansi fell in love with a High Class rich boy Aryan (Played by Shalin Bhanot), whose sister Miss Khambhata was Head of Airport Authority. after a long sequence of High Class - Low Class Family Drama, Maansi decided to become an Air Hostess, to gain respect from Miss Khambata and take back Aaryan from Saniya.

Air Hostess was a Hindi Tele series telecasted on DD National in the year 1986. Sabir Mustafa directed the series. Rakesh Saksham wrote the story and music was composed by Rajesh Prasad. The serial featured Kitu Gidwani in the lead role as an air hostess. It showed a typical life of an air hostess in India. Kitu was a glamorous star who made her debut with ‘Trishna’ in 1984.

Later, she was cast in ‘Air Hostess’. The story is a love story of a poor girl Mansi, whose father was Mr. Ramakant, a lower-class employee, a cleaner in Airport. But yet Mansi fell in love with a wealthy boy Aryan, who is from a high-class society. After an extended sequence of their love story, Mansi decides to become an Air Hostess to take back Aryan from Saniya.

Krutika Desai Khan played the other female lead in the series. The show was liked by the youth who liked Kitu’s colourful image on the small screen. To add glamour in the show, a song titled ‘Dhadkan Meri Ye Sada De’ was played in the series which became a bit popular with youths of our country. It was a blockbuster serial aired on Doordarshan. RDG Production, Utopia Productions and Doordarshan had crafted the show for DD national channel.

The serial was popular among youngsters, and the Song Dhadkan Meri Ye Sada De was one of the favorite song of many people those days. This song was used to show the romance and love scenes between Aaryan and Maansi.
